The President of the NOC of Ivory Coast, Lassana Palenfo, was elected ANOCA President for a four-year tenure at the General Assembly that held in Accra, Ghana, on 17 and 18 June 2005.
IOC member since 2000, Lassana Palenfo is also President of the African Judo Association and Vice President of the International Judo Federation since 1990.
