Fête de l’Humanité

Humanite The ANOCA was invited to take part to the «Fête de l’Humanité» (Celebration of Humanity), the biggest public and cultural French event organized each year near Paris.  The edition 2007 which took place on the 14, 15, and 16 of September has celebrated the Africa through the organization of several events.

A photo exhibition, called the all-time Greatest African athletes, has been presented by the ANOCA in the sport area of the event in order to make people more aware of the African Sport.

M. Mamadou Talata Doulla, ANOCA Vice-president and Niger NOC President, has participated to a main discussion with Mme Aminata Traoré, former Mali Minister of Culture on the thematic : Immigration chosen? New pillage of African athletes.

Finally Jonathan Chimier - athlete from Mauritius -made a new presentation of video made by ANOCA  «Together, let’s run faster than the HIV/AIDS«. Coming back on his participation to the project, the long jump athlete, who was finalist in the last Olympic Games in Athens, shared his view on the importance that athletes contribute to the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa
