ANOCA Games

The purpose of the ANOCA Games is to get the young to practise sport and to identify olympic young talents across continent.

At the end of December 2006, ANOCA Zones have organised the inaugural edition of these Games in their respective jurisdictions on a programme comprising four to six sports codes.

The President of ANOCA who graced the event with his presence commended the interest generated by these inaugural games. In this connection, he said: « I am delighted to see all these young people who have come together to experience together their first major sports event. The youth of today will make the Africa tomorrow and I wish they can be inspired as they grow into adulthood by sports, its values and virtues ».
